Our Team

Helen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her team. She spent 20 years practising from Christchurch to the Cayman Islands before choosing to settle in sunny Nelson.

She gained valuable experience practising accounting at a partnership level for 10 years and feels that being independent in her own practise has allowed her to focus more on each client and their individual needs. Helen's easy to approach personality and professionalism complement each other so you can feel at ease knowing your accounts are in very capable hands.


Helen enjoys the outdoors and, when she's not working on creative projects around her home, can be found with her two sons tramping the tracks in our beautiful region or on the ski slopes.

Gemma Rolfe BCom CA
Chartered Accountant

Gemma graduated from Canterbury University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting in 2006 and went on to complete her Chartered Accountancy in 2009. She has worked in both private and commercial accounting areas over the past 15 years.

Her bright and friendly personality stands out when dealing with her. She is patient, understanding, and clear when explaining accounting technicalities to ensure you know exactly what is going on with your numbers.


Gemma enjoys the challenge of getting things to balance and likes working with people, teaching them skills to help make their lives easier.

She is a mum to two gorgeous children and enjoys taking them on outdoor adventures and the thrill of snow sports with her husband.

Wendy Neame
Tax Manager

Wendy has previous experience working for Inland Revenue for 16 years and was a tax manager at another accounting firm for 15 years. Therefore she knows the ins and outs of most things tax related and is a very valuable member of our team.  

She brings a variety of skills and knowledge to the office and is our 'go to' for anything tax or IRD associated. Wendy is very understanding and pleasant to deal with and is always happy to help our clients as best she can, striving to achieve positive outcomes when helping them with tricky tax matters.

Outside of work, Wendy is busy running three businesses with her husband. She enjoys going to music concerts, catching up with family and friends and travelling when time  allows! And of course cuddles from her two dogs.

Christine Sinclair
Administration

Christine comes from an extensive administrative background ranging from surveyors to accounting. She has a wide range of experience in bookkeeping and payroll and brings this knowledge with her as well as her bright and cheerful personality and willingness to help.

 

Christine enjoys the gym, going on adventures away in her campervan and tramping with her other half. She has been known to chase the sunshine during Nelsons winter months and explore other parts of the world!  She has two grandchildren who she loves to spend time with when she can.

Annalisa Mackay
Administration

Annalisa spent 6 years managing reception at an accounting firm where she learnt the functionality and administrative procedures of an accounting office. She brings this knowledge with her as well as her interest in learning how things work, whether it be on the computer or with the numbers she is surrounded by in the office. She likes combining what she learns with her creative side.

Annalisa enjoys writing, reading, travel and socialising with her friends and family.
